LDM Bootleg, Chapter 2 (September 28)

We're heading to Motley Bauhaus and we're EXCITED

LDM Bootleg, Chapter 2: September 28

Hello again, it’s Adrian over at Literary Death Match, writing to tell you that our first LDM Bootleg was such an absolute delight that we’re returning for Chapter 2 at The Motley Bauhaus in Carlton on 28 September, from 7-9:30pm.

LDM Bootleg co-hosts suddenly perform John Cheever’s “Reunion” at 7:32pm.

Oh, and if you hated the first invite, but hate this one even more, you can quickly unsubscribe by clicking here.

So, what is LDM Bootleg? It’s a co-creation of myself and Jonathan O’Brien — a jovial, low-key get-together of sharp-minded writers and storytelling-focused creatives that will kick off at 7pm, feature the brief, mic-free performance of a single classic short story at 8pm, and be followed by a bunch of fun-time chatter until 9:30pm-ish.

Also: Jonathan just won Queensland Premier's Young Publishers and Writers Award. What?! Come toast his success at Bootleg!

Some delightfully intelligent attendees all look in the same direction at the same time.

BONUS: Everyone who attends, will receive a Jonathan-designed “bootlegged,” zine-style copy of the story we perform, to go with their general feeling of merriment and community. And the first one — which you can find here — was a HIT.

If you’re able to make it, please RSVP by clicking here — and +1 and +2 and +3’s (etc.) are welcome, we just ask that they be fantastic people.

Hope to see you on September 28th!

Adrian & Jonathan
